| In the middle of the courtyard is a four-storey brick wall with window openings, which was designed by Danish artist Per Kirkeby as a symbol of the transitory nature of existence. It is meant to remind us of earlier buildings in this historic Dorotheenstadt area. The old building behind it contains restored conference rooms, used mainly by parliamentary commissions of enquiry and the various party organisations of the German Bundestag. | ||
