Traces of the past in the south-east of the Wandelhalle: Architect Norman Foster wanted to retain evidence of the damage suffered during the Second World War as a witness to times past. Each floor in the Reichstag building has been assigned a different colour in order to help visitors find their way round. The colour for this floor is blue.
