Visual material is provided to TV companies © German Bundestag/Pauls
Parliamentary Television provides all its visual materials to television companies without charge and free from third party rights to support topical reporting on Parliament. However, it only does so if the images are to be used in educational or information programmes that have a direct connection with the work of the German Bundestag. Visual materials supplied by the German Bundestag may be neither sold nor lent out. The prior approval of the German Bundestag is required if images are to be used for other purposes.
Parliamentary Television provides these visual materials without charge at its dedicated handover points. It is possible for them to be passed on by an external service provider (at the expense of the television companies). In addition to this, visual materials produced by Parliamentary Television may also be ordered for a charge (for example, on Beta/SP, Digi/Beta or DVD).
