The President of Vanuatu is His Excellency Hon. Iolu Abil Johnson and the Prime Minister is now Hon. Sato Kilman Liftunvanu.
Vanuatu has gained it's independence on the 30th of July 1980 and is a Republic. Port Vila is the Capital of Vanuatu.

For geographical information, Vanuatu is an archipelago of 83 islands lying between New Caledonia and Fiji in the South Pacific. Largest of the islands is Espiritu Santo (875 sq mi = 2,266 sq km); others are Efate, Malo, Pentecost, and Tanna.
Total area of Vanuatu is 4,710 sq mi (=12,200 sq km).

Who may use the library?
The library is normally used by the Parliament Members as a priority because the library is mainly being established to serve our Members with information such as laws, governmental information and other international information that would be relevant for our Members.
The other library users also come up to the library for information such as the students, government staff from various government departments, clients from private sectors and other overseas researchers.
