The main purpose of the Press Documentation Division of the German Bundestag is to document and provide information about the press response to the activities of the German Bundestag, its Members and institutions, and also about general political, economic and cultural affairs. In order to perform its tasks as effectively as possible in the interests of Members, the parliamentary bodies and the staff of the Bundestag Administration, the Division produces a press review every working day and maintains a press archive and an information and search service.
As the archive is not open to the public, the Press Documentation Division is only accessible for use under specific conditions.
