The German Bundestag: The Heart of Democracy
The Bundestag is the heart of democracy in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is the only constitutional body directly elected by the people at federal level. The film provides an informative and entertaining insight into the work of the German Bundestag. It explains the role of the Bundestag President, along with the work of the Council of Elders, the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Armed Forces, the parliamentary groups and the committees, as well as the areas of the administration that support the work of the Members.
