| The bridge connecting Houses 4 and 8 gives a wonderful view of the surrounding area. To the east the television tower at Alexanderplatz extends skywards. The large building directly to the left of the television tower is the old East German Trade Centre, now an office building. Down below and parallel to the bridge Wilhelmstrasse runs right towards the famous Berlin street Unter den Linden and left towards the River Spree. And to the west Dorotheenstrasse leads off towards Friedrich-Ebert-Platz where our tour started. | ||
