Beneath the Bundestag Eagle is the seat of the President of the Bundestag, from where he presides over the sessions of the Plenary Chamber. The President is assisted in this role by four deputies. Directly to the left and right of the President are the secretaries who manage the list of speakers and make a record of all votes. Together they form the Chamber Presiding Committee.
