Conditions for the use of digital photographs from the Picture and Film Archive of the German Bundestag

Digital photographs (images and other materials from the Picture and Film Archive of the German Bundestag) may only be used for press purposes. No charge is made for their use. News agencies may only pass on copies for press purposes on condition that they are accompanied by a statement to the effect that the photograph is also available free of charge from the Press Centre of the Bundestag (press office). Use for any other purpose is only possible in justified cases and the prior written consent of the press office must be obtained.
If picture material is published in printed form, the source must be acknowledged as "German Bundestag" and a copy provided without charge to the Press Office.
All use of digital photographs other than as detailed under Point 1 above, in particular for commercial or advertising purposes, is not permitted. If it is unclear whether material is being used for press purposes, the press office must be requested for a decision prior to publication.
Duplication of digital photographs other than as detailed under Point 1 is not permitted. This also applies to all forms of data media.
Passing on of digital photographs to third parties is not permitted without the prior written consent of the Press Office.
