Any other informations: The Library's Parliamentary Research Branch (PRB) with a staff of some 80 researchers provides research, analysis, information and consulting services to Members of the Senate and the House of Commons and other parliamentary clients on a wide range of legislative, policy and constituency or regional issues. It also provides the subject specialists that assist parliamentary committees and associations. It has an extensive Publications Program with papers available electronically on the parliamentary and public websites. The PRB has an internship program and also manages several series of seminars offering interactive workshops and public policy discussion seminars to Parliamentarians and their staff.
Further, the Library provides an Information Service to respond to questions from the general public on the history, role and activities of Parliament and distributes information products such as brochures and info-notes. The Library enhances public awareness of Parliament through its Parliamentary Public Programs: Education Outreach (primarily the annual Teacher's Institute on Canadian Parliamentary Democracy), Visitor Services, Parliamentary Tours and the Souvenir Boutique. A variety of information on the Library of Parliament is available to the public on the Parliamentary Internet Parlementaire website: www.parl.gc.ca
