Legislative Library is a prime source of information for the
Members of the Legislative Assembly, government departments and
task forces periodically appointed by the government. As a research
library, it is also a resource for the academic community and the
general public

Library receives copies of all books, serials, and government
documents published in the Province
Any other information: Second copies
of local history and major works of Manitobiana are purchased for
the Rare Book Collection, and duplicates of newspapers and
periodicals are ordered for the Legislative Reading Room. As well
as protecting the published heritage of Manitoba, these backup
collections support the Libary's very active interlibrary loan
service
