The exhibition “How the Miracle Happened - Photographs by Barbara Klemm” in the German Bundestag's Berlin Wall Memorial (scheduled to run until 9 January 2011) currently remains closed due to security measures.

The exhibition “BERNHARD HEISIG - The Big World Stage” is open to members of the public who register in advance (a short film showing the opening of the exhibition can be found at www.kunst-im-bundestag.de). The following arrangements apply for December:

From Tuesday, 7 December 2010, the exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday at 11 am or 4 pm. Visitors must register at least 24 hours in advance by sending an email to the address kunst-raum@bundestag.de. Please state the date and time when you would like to visit, along with the full names and dates of birth of all the people wishing to visit the exhibition. You will receive confirmation or, should the exhibition be fully booked, a suggestion for an alternative time and date. The guided tours begin at the main entrance to the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders Building, Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin. At the entrance you will be asked to produce your passport or identity card. No guided tours take place on Mondays. If you are unable to visit at the times given above, please let us know and we will try to arrange a tour at another time. As always, entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.

The exhibition is open to Members of the Bundestag and their staff, as well as staff of the Bundestag Administration, every Thursday from 12 noon to 4 pm. They should use the internal upper entrance to the Art Room in the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders Building.
