Databases, minutes of plenary proceedings and literature

The Documents area of the website provides access to the databases administered by the German Bundestag.

They include the Subject and Speakers’ Indexes (which enable readers and researchers to find out which parliamentary publications contain the information they need) and the State of Federal Legislation (which records where every bill is in the legislative process at a given time). These databases are updated on a daily basis.

A full-text database covering several electoral terms offers access to printed papers and minutes of plenary proceedings in pdf format. The first few pages of the minutes of a plenary sitting are posted on the Internet as a preliminary publication before the sitting is even over. The full minutes are subsequently added to the database.

The Library catalogue can be used for literature searches.
