The members' restaurant is
situated right next to the Spree and since the river cuts through
the ribbon of parliamentary buildings (known as the "Band des
Bundes"), freight shipping and steamer traffic pass right by the
Parliament Quarter. On the other side of the river, connected by a
bridge to the Paul Löbe Building, is the Marie-Elisabeth
Lüders Building. The restaurant was designed by Cuban artist
Jorge Pardo. Dozens of multi-coloured crystal lamps and
attractively designed tables and chairs give the room a special
atmosphere. Behind the restaurant to the left is a subterranean
walkway to the Reichstag Building and the Jakob Kaiser House.
