• Declaration on the Establishment of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (1993)

Aims:

• to promote economic, political and cultural cooperation among the peoples of the Black Sea region in the interests of stability, prosperity and peace in the region
• to enact legislation needed for the implementation of decisions taken by the Heads of State or Government or by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs
• to provide assistance to national parliaments so as to strengthen parliamentary democracy
• to promote cooperation with other international and regional organizations

Members: 11 (the Parliaments of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, the Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine), institutions of Black Sea Economic Cooperation and international parliamentary assemblies, the European Parliament and the Parliaments of France, Germany and Israel as observers Bundestag membership since: 2000 Total number of seats: 70 (at least 4 per member parliament, depending on demographic criteria) German delegation 1 - 2 Institutions:
